I got to meet Payton and Derek back in 2020 when I photographed my first Covid wedding - crazy, right? They have a big beautiful family that is so warm and welcoming and I was so excited to plan this family photoshoot with all of them. Granted, it took a few tries to get there because of this crazy North Carolina weather. It was 80 degrees, then snowing, then a tornado, then false Spring, then snowed again. But we finally made it to the photo session with beautiful weather!
It was so nice to spend time with this family and capture their pure essence in these photos, and I hope to run into them again in the future!
